For good pregnancy health, both you and your partner must completely avoid drinks high on caffeine like coffee, tea, and cold drinks.
First of all you must be careful with what you eat and drink to maintain good pregnancy health. You must eat food that is rich in fiber like fresh vegetables, fruit, cereals etc. You need more calcium during pregnancy, so include food items that contain calcium in your diet. A rich and balanced diet would help you cope with early pregnancy symptoms like constipation, heartburn, hemorrhoids etc.
For body pains and aches, try applying heat-pads. Avoid tight and synthetic clothing. Wear padded bras to tackle another symptom of pregnancy – tender or swollen breasts. Also avoid use of soaps.

I think it is also important for pregnant women to understand that sex is not the same as intercourse involving penis penetration. There are a lot of activities, sex, that can be enjoyed by couples at all stages of pregnancy which can be satisfying but which do not involve penis penetration of the pregnant woman’s vagina. Remember, the biggest, most sensitive sex organ is the human skin. There are/will be many times in the life of a good marriage/sexual relationship when the partners cannot engage in sexual penis penetration intercourse. Learning to make each other happy sexually at such times is part of what makes a good, successful marriage or sexual relationship.
Open you minds and learn to communicate and experiment. It can bring a couple closer together than ever. I know. My late husband was bed bound for nearly five years after a stroke. We still had a great sexual relationship, even sometimes giving a whole new meaning to “bed ridden” and exploring all kinds of ways to make each other happy without adding to his pain, but satisfying both of us.
